Food by Dish put their sustainability action plan into practice

Wednesday, September 13, 2023 - 09:30

Food by Dish are buzzing with positive changes as they put their sustainability action plan into practice. Their latest major step is the adoption of an electric fleet of vehicles for their onsite food delivery services. They are incredibly excited about how this revolutionises the way they operate as caterers within the capital; lowering their carbon footprint whilst enhancing their client experience and helping to create a healthier environment for their staff and customers.

Their new electric vans, in contrast to conventional vehicles, are equipped with cutting-edge navigation systems, enabling smooth travel through city streets. Moreover, each van is fitted with fridge monitors and print receipts on request to guarantee the freshness of their food, thus maximising their operations efficiency and minimising their carbon footprint.

Food By Dish's electrical fleet took a tour of the city centre earlier this month and familiarised themselves with some of their unique venues in London. During their tours, they couldn’t think of a more fitting venue for their vans to have their official photoshoot than the London Transport Museum! Their new vans were driven inside the venue and pictured alongside some of London’s most iconic modes of Transport.

Food By Dish are proud that this investment joins a list of their strategic partnerships and carbon-offsetting initiatives that they are continuously working towards over the coming 6-12 months... Keep watching this space!
